As his reputation for building fine custom homes grew, so did his clientele, and by 1970 his homes and clients stretched from New York to Florida.
Now the second Fuller generation has brought the tradition to Texas. In addition to building the finest of custom homes in the Dallas area, George has partnered with Jeffory Blackard as builder of Adriatica. But George's talent isn't limited to construction. An accomplished musician, he once had a highly successful guitar shop that served household names in the music industry. There was a time when Amparo didn't want to relocate her flower shop. She had a thriving business and more work than she could handle, but when she saw the little hut covered in stone and went inside, all that changed. The modest-sized space was filled on the inside with wood beams and stonework, crowned with a five-foot tall slab of stone set in one wall that had carved in it a tower and below it the words, "The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer." When she saw it, she told her husband she knew this was the place she should be.
Now she has thoughtfully packed the little hovel full of beautiful things. She keeps her approach eclectic by offering a wide range of floral design concepts, from fun and whimsical, to elegant and formal, relaxed and country, to dramatic and romantic.
