March 25, 2008 - The BOL building is nearing completion. The stone work is looking really good and the doors are spectacular.

September 28, 2007 - Work on the BOL building continues. The roof truss installation is almost complete.

September 18, 2007 - The framing continues on the main building of the BOL site. The fire lane (aka the parking lot) along Virginia was poured early last week.

August 9, 2007 - The foundation was poured early this morning for the larger of the two buildings.

May 17, 2007 - The foundation piers were drilled this morning and this afternoon the steel reinforcements are being built. Within a couple of weeks, the foundation will be poured and the building will start to grow skyward.

November 4, 2006 - We are aggressively working to find tenants for this building. We still have 814 square feet of retail space available on the first floor as well as space approximately 4,000 square feet on the second floor for offices or retail. Contact Sal Santaniello for information.

The smaller building, (Building II) has been designated as a restaurant. This is the building that was specifically designed to hold the decades old, hand carved stone that once adorned the Morton Salt Mansion in Chicago, IL. We are currently planning a Croatian theme featuring steak and seafood in an intimate dining environment. The patio design, while still evolving, will include heaters for the winter and misters for summer use. As the design details become finalized, we will start posting drawings here. We anticipate the restaurant to be open for business this time next year.

August 26, 2006 - The excavation for the BOL building is complete. The underground utilities, (electric, water, etc.) are set to be built soon. The target for constructing the building is mid to late September, 2006. Of approximately 18,000 square feet of space available to lease, about 3,400 S. F. remain available and we have a great deal of interest in that space.

May 4, 2006 - It has been a while but we have the drawings of what the BOL building will look like. The grading stakes are in the ground and work should begin soon. As you can tell from the pictures, this will be a magnificent commercial building. To give just a hint of the final finish, Building II is the building that will display the carved stone that was removed from the Morton Salt Mansion in Chicago, IL.

February 13 , 2006 - Below you will see the artist renditions of the BOL Building, also being referred to as Retail Center 2. This is proposed for the site next to the Kastel along Virginia Parkway. A little piece of information concerning the Northwest Corner of the Building. Jeff Blackard purchased the stone from the front of the Morton Salt Mansion in Chicago. It was scheduled to be torn down. Jeff has brought the stone to Adriatica and designed the BOL building specifically to utilize all of this hand cut stone.
