February 13 , 2008 -This is the canal. We will break the dam at the end.

February 1 , 2008 -This is where a bridge will be built.
This is the island where the two restaurants will be built.

January 9 , 2008 - The Canals looking really good at this point. This is the work that has been going on that cannot be seen from the street.

December 6, 2006 - The foundations for the bridges have been poured. A couple more weeks and the bridges should be complete.

November 8, 2007 - The bridge between the two islands has been started. Below Bobbie Easter and his crew are pouring the footings.

March 15, 2006 - Work has started again in the harbor. Rod with American Eagle Construction is preparing the bedrock walls to have stone applied.

March 3, 2006 - Work in the Harbor is in full swing once again. The amphitheater has been poured, rock is being installed around the perimeter and "anchors" to tie off the boats are also being installed.

February 14, 2006 - The forms for the Amphitheater are in place and ready for concrete. As in all seaside villages, seagulls are part of the ambiance, Adriatica is no different.

February 3, 2006 - Below is a drawing of how the Galleon and the Chapel will align in the Harbor with the Harbor District.

January 26, 2006 - Today the "piers" are being drilled through the dirt and into the bedrock. These will be filled with rebar and concrete allowing the Amphitheater 'slab' to be attached.

January 23, 2006 - Check out the stone walls being built at the base of the islands. Using the bobcat as a reference, they look to be about 2' thick at the base. These walls will continue upward to the buildings making them look as if the buildings rose right out of the water.

You may have noticed dirt being put BACK into the Harbor. This is only temporary. This plateau will serve as a platform for the construction of the Amphitheater. That's correct, the amphitheater is no longer "Proposed" as the sign in the bottom left of the picture indicates, it is under construction. Pillars will be drilled into the bedrock to secure the "stage". Once that work is complete, the dirt will be removed leaving the Amphitheater to look as if it is floating on water.
