February 20, 2007 - Dr. Buchanan has started to finish out the inside of the building. If the timeline holds true, she should be ready to move to her new location in about 60 days.

November 4, 2006 - Dr. Buchanan's office is taking shape and, as you can tell from the pictures below, is looking incredibly beautiful. The interior work will start shortly after the first of the year, and from what I have heard, it will be an incredible interior. It will certainly be one of the finest orthodontist's office both inside and out. More on that later.

August 6, 2006 - Using the same technique as the view of the RIVA from Kings Lake, the picture below is what Dr. Buchanan, her team and her patients will see when they look towards the RIVA.

May 10, 2006 - It has taken longer than it should have but here are the elevations of Dr. Buchanan's new building.

April 18, 2006 - Dr. Buchanan held her Ground Breaking ceremony today. Although it was in record heat...(100+ degrees), her supporters arrived to share in her excitement. Mayor Whitfield, Councilman Helsley, Councilman Huff and McKinney City Manager Larry Robinson were among the well wishers. A hearty thank you to her staff as they made sure everyone had cold water on such a hot day. Dr. Buchanan had a BIG surprise in store for her... I think she wanted to use a Gold Shovel to turn the first dirt on her site. We couldn't find the shovel so we asked Rod of American Eagle Construction if he could lend a hand... and boy did he! Thank you Rod! View the pictures below and you will see how. Dr. Buchanan was all smiles as she learned how to operate the heavy equipment.

March 10, 2006 - The streets of the Medical Park are about to be finished. The middle section of the street was poured last week with the parking areas and intersections being formed today and should be poured next week.

February 9, 2006 - The grading has begun. The machine below is probably the slowest machine I have ever seen but it transforms the 'dirt clods' to smooth dirt. I guess the old saying is true... "good things come to those who wait".

January 31, 2006 - To the untrained eye, not much is happening... BUT... good progress has been made. Grading and the forms should start for the streets any day now.

January 25, 2006 - The ground was dry enough to get a picture. Not much to see, just piles of dirt and some heavy equipment... so far. More interesting things will start to appear in a couple of weeks.

January 24, 2006 - Blackard Group has begun installation of the infrastructure for the Medical building. The Medical Building will be located along Virginia Parkway at the east end of Adriatica. Once the infrastructure is installed, the grading and construction of the streets will begin. Pictures will soon be added to this page... the rain/mud prevented access for photos.
